1. What are the opening hours?

    All opening hours and food service times are in the contact section of the website 

  2. Are dogs allowed?

    Dogs are allowed, if well behaved and on a lead,  at outside benches. While we are outside service only you can book tables with dogs, when we re open fully this is likely to not be the case

  3. Are children allowed?

    We are child friendly, children should not be left unattended, or they may be fed espresso and skittles. Our children’s menu is in the menu section of the website (until we reopen inside fully there is no children’s menu) 

  4. Do you accept cash payments?

    We accept cash and card payments, including contactless up to £45. We do not accept American Express or cheque payment. All bills settled on the same day 

  5. Do we have to book a table to eat?

    We would always advise booking a table to eat. We have capacity for walk ins, ( which varies daily ) depending on bookings which take priority 

  6. Can we come in for just drinks?

    April 2021: Drinks and or food are allowed under the new rules from 12th April, all guests seated and table served only 

  7. Can we buy beer from the brewery?

    The brewery shop is open Fridays 2-5.30pm and Saturdays 12-4pm, you can view the brewery online at www.nenevalleybrewery.com, hours may vary  

  8. Do you have onsite parking?

    We have a large carpark on site, please observe the 5mph limit 

  9. Do you do gift vouchers?

    We have vouchers that can be purchased at the restaurant, they can be for any amount and are valid for a year from purchase date 

  10. Are you wheelchair friendly?

    The restaurant is accessible via a ramped entrance and has no steps on the lower restaurant and bar sections. The river terrace is also accessible via a ramp and we have an easy access toilet

     

  11. Do you have baby changing facilities?

    We have an easy access toilet with a baby change table 

  12. Do you cater for people with allergies or dietary needs?

    We have a good varied daily changing menu and can cater for most allergies, prior notice is always helpful when booking. We also have vegetarian and vegan dishes. Team members on the day will assist. All of our Nene Valley Brewery beer is also coeliac friendly 

  13. Can we kayak or paddle board from the restaurant jetty?

    There is no public river access from the restaurant. For all kayaking and canoeing you can contact www.neneextreme.co.uk

  14. Do you take bookings through social media?

    We only take bookings via phone or email, the contact details are up to date on this website 

  15. Can I bring in a birthday cake?

    Currently we are not allowing any cakes to be brought in and placed in any back of house areas. We are not allowing candles or sparklers of any kind. We can make cakes to order, and have a great menu of puddings available

  16. What is the maximum table size I can book?

    In line with Government rules, we do not book tables above 6 guests, nor do we split larger numbers across separate tables
